What is a green, yellow or purple?
A Green is the name given to a referral that has
successfully completed an offer.
A Yellow is the name given to a
referral who has signed up but not completed an offer.
On some offers there is a pending stage.
These are sometimes called purples or pendings
Do my friends have to complete an offer?
Yes. When a friend completes an offer the freebie site gets paid and this is where the money for your free gadgets come from.
Can I be my own referral if I do a different offer?
No. This is strictly against the rules of the freebie sites. Also the rules state it is 1 account per IP address and postal address. So be sure not to let anybody sign up from your PC.
can i do the offers more than once?
No. The advertisers pay the freebie sites for New customers and so they will only pay the freebie site once for your sign up no matter how many times you sign up
Can I get more than one Free Gadget?
Yes. When you have completed the site for your chosen gadget you can simply reset your account and start again. Only this time you don't need to complete an offer yourself, you simply have to refer more friends.
Do I need a Credit/Debit card?
Most of the offers do require a credit or debit card to complete the offers. This is mainly for address or age verification. All the companies that advertise are well respected companies that comply with the Data Protection Act 1998
How do the Freebie sites know I have completed an offer?
The freebie sites place a cookie in your temporary internet files to track the offer completion. You are required to have cookies switched on for the offers to track correctly
i have completed an offer but the site still says 'not completed'?
Some of the offers can take up to 5 days to credit. If you are worried that the offer has not tracked correctly simply raise a support ticket to the freebie site. All the sites I use are very helpful and quick at sorting out any issues
I am from USA/Canada can I still participate?
Yes. This is open to all residents of UK, USA and Canada. When you sign up you will be automatically presented with offers from your location.
